TV Aerial Reception in Ormskirk
Television reception in Ormskirk and the surrounding area is primarily provided by the Winter Hill transmitter, located near Rivington to the north-east.
Signal strength is generally good across much of Ormskirk, and in suitable locations there is normally sufficient signal to supply several televisions from a single correctly installed aerial.
Reception can still be affected by local conditions, particularly large trees, nearby buildings, the position of the property and the condition of the existing aerial and cabling. If you're experiencing picture break-up, missing Freeview channels or intermittent reception, I can test the signal at your property and advise on the most appropriate solution.

Recent Work in Ormskirk & Surrounding Areas
Additional Freeview Aerial – Ormskirk
The existing aerial signal was insufficient to reliably feed additional TV points, so I installed a compact log-periodic aerial using the existing mast and lashing, which were still in good condition.
Its compact design also provides low wind loading, reducing unnecessary strain on the existing mounting.
STARLINK INSTALLATION – SCARISBRICK
Starlink installed on a static caravan in Scarisbrick, providing a fast and reliable internet connection where conventional broadband options can be limited.
The dish was securely mounted to the caravan and positioned with a clear view of the sky for reliable performance.
TV WALL MOUNTING – WESTHEAD
TV professionally wall mounted within a purpose-built media wall in Westhead, with the screen carefully positioned for a neat, centred finish.
Cables and connections were kept neatly concealed, leaving a clean installation with no visible wiring.
